Infi-Tex is proud to announce that founder and CEO Myra Waiman has been named a winner of the Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award 2025/26.
The award recognises women founders leading ambitious, innovation-driven UK businesses. It provides grant funding alongside 12 months of tailored business support, mentoring and opportunities to accelerate growth.
Infi-Tex develops smart textiles that can detect pressure and touch without relying on conventional rigid sensors. By printing patented conductive ink directly onto fabric, we create flexible, lightweight sensing surfaces capable of capturing real-time pressure data.
A major focus for Infi-Tex is the early detection and prevention of pressure ulcers. Our technology is being developed to identify potentially harmful pressure build-up before it becomes an injury, supporting better outcomes for patients and healthcare professionals. Further applications include performance monitoring in sport and connected protective equipment.
